Telemann’s Magnificat and Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai with Stour Singers

On Saturday 10th December I travelled to Shipston-on-Stour to perform with Stour Singers. Haydn’s Massi Sancti Nicolai is a well-known work, but the Telemann is performed far less frequently. It would be nice to do it more often, especially as I think the alto gets a couple of the nicest moments!

We were also treated to a delicious dinner at The George Townhouse between rehearsal and concert, which was a delight on a freezing day!
