Busy December

December was a busy month as always! I sang the solos in two performances of Handel’s Messiah, one at Worcester Cathedral and one at Ampleforth School. I didn’t sing Messiah last year, and I have really enjoyed having it back in the repertoire in 2023. Last month’s performance at the Albert Hall was very special, and I have really enjoyed listening to the energetic choruses and beautiful solo movements with fresher ears.

I also spent five days in Florida with The Queen’s Six, a consort group I sing with, singing concerts in Jacksonville and Sarasota. Sadly the weather was more UK than Florida! Christmas is always busy at Windsor, but I had some time off afterwards to come into 2024 feeling rested and refreshed.
