Handel and Astorga with Quire Voices

On Saturday it was a great pleasure to join Orpheus Sinfonia and Quire Voices, under the direction of Sean Bui, in Eton College’s glorious chapel. We performed Astorga’s Stabat Mater, a beautiful alternative to other better-known setting of that text, and Handel’s Dixit Dominus, a dynamic and passionate work. It was a wonderful evening with a warm audience in such a spectacular setting.
