First set of opera scenes

It was a great pleasure to perform the final scene from George Benjamin’s Written on Skin in The Britten Theatre at RCM last Friday. It was wonderful to work alongside the talented Rachel Allen and Ed Jowle, and under the direction of Saffron von Zwanenberg and Audrey Hyland. The audience was very receptive, and it was a pleasure to perform in front of a live audience after last year’s opera was not allowed one. Tomorrow is the second set, and I’ll be singing a scene as Oberon from Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
