Chiswick Recital

Today I gave a recital in St. Nicholas Church, Chiswick, and the glorious acoustic in the church made it a lovely place to sing. The recital’s theme was ‘Maturity’, and the programme ranged from earlier music by Vivaldi and Handel through to Schumann and Wolf, with more modern music by Betty Roe and George Benjamin too.

There was a pleasing turnout and the audience was very appreciative. Profits from the concert went to the St Nicholas Church Development Fund, which is restoring stonework outside of the church; hopefully the good turnout has raised a lot for this purpose!
