Bach and Scarlatti in Truro

In early July I headed down to Cornwall to sing at Truro Cathedral with Three Spires Singers. I spent a gap year singing as a choral scholar at the cathedral back in 2012/13, and it is always a joy to return to such a beautiful part of the world.

We sang Bach’s Cantata 80 (Ein feste Burg) and Scarlatti’s St. Cecilia Mass, and there was a wonderful performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto by Jacob Perry. Several of the other soloists had links to the cathedral, and it was a celebratory and very enjoyable evening.
