Britten Canticles with SongEasel

Yesterday I sang two of Benjamin Britten’s Canticles, Abraham and Isaac and The Journey of the Magi at St. Laurence Church in Catford. The recital also featured tenor Ben Johnson and baritone Theodore Platt, both of whom sang both poignant and entertaining songs by Britten, and pianist Keval Shah accompanied sensitively.

The recital was put on by SongEasel, a charity dedicated to bring song to South East London. It was a great pleasure to be a part of a recital featuring such beautiful music and to work with such talented colleagues.
